At York Redesign Studio, each piece of furniture is unique — often pre-loved, vintage, or custom restored.
​Our upcycled pieces may show character from their previous life — this is part of their charm! Any marks or unique features will be highlighted when you buy, and if you’re unsure about anything, just drop us a message
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase or commissioning work.
1. All Sales Are Final
Due to the nature of our items, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for:

Colour or style preferences

Fit or size issues
We encourage customers to inspect items in person or request detailed photos before purchase.

We take care to accurately describe and photograph every item. Refunds or replacements are only considered if an item:

Arrives damaged during delivery, or

Is significantly different from the description
To request a refund under these circumstances, please contact us within 2 days of delivery or collection with:

Photos of the damage or discrepancy

Your order details and a brief explanation
We will review your claim and, if approved, offer a repair, replacement, or partial/full refund.

Custom commissions and transformations (including work on customer-owned furniture) are non-refundable once work has begun.

A deposit may be required before starting work; deposits are also non-refundable.

Any changes to the project scope after work has started may incur additional charges.
4. Delivery & Collection Fees
All delivery or collection fees are non-refundable once an item has left our Studio or a delivery has been scheduled.
Please ensure all measurements and access arrangements are suitable before purchase.
