We specialise in the sourcing, restoration, redesign, and sale of pre-loved furniture, as well as offering custom commissions and furniture transformation services.

2. Purchases & Payments

All purchases are handled directly, not through this website.
Customers must contact us to confirm availability and pricing.

Monzo Paylink
Bank transfer
Card Payment on Collection
Cash on collection

Payment is required in full before delivery or upon collection.
We cannot hold items without payment.

3. Delivery & Collection

We offer local delivery within the York area and UK-wide delivery by request (quotes available upon enquiry).
Delivery times may vary depending on availability and courier scheduling.
Buyers must ensure suitable access for large items.
Once an item is collected or delivered, ownership transfers to the buyer.

Delivery fees are non-refundable once a service has been arranged or completed

4. Commissions & Transformations

For commissioned or custom work (including customer-owned furniture), a written agreement will outline details such as finish, colour, and scope.
A non-refundable deposit may be required before work begins.
Custom and commissioned items are non-refundable once work has started.

5. Refunds & Returns

As detailed in our Refund Policy:

All sales are final for pre-owned or refurbished furniture.
Refunds are only considered if an item arrives damaged during delivery or significantly not as described.
Claims must be submitted within 2 days of delivery or collection, including photos and a written explanation.

Minor imperfections, wear, or marks consistent with vintage and secondhand furniture are not considered faults.

6. Liability

While we take great care in preparing and delivering our pieces, York Redesign Studio is not liable for:

Damage caused by mishandling, improper use, or modification after delivery or collection.
Failure to check measurements or access prior to purchase.
Any indirect loss or damage beyond the value of the purchased item.

All content on this website — including text, images, and designs — is owned by York Redesign Studio.
